If you are currently providing care to a loved one, it is important to remember to also take care of yourself.
Tips for Caregivers to Stay Upbeat and Motivated:
Choose your attitude. Accept the things you cannot change.
Take care of yourself. Get enough sleep and do something special for you.
Record your thoughts and feelings.
Find humor in your life.
Dont let yourself feel guilty. You are doing everything you can for your loved one. Not everything is under your control.
Seek help from other caregivers and resources. It is a sign of strength not weakness
