President to Step Down Before New Board Member Elections

I want to let you know I will not be seeking a third term as president of the Wedgewood Civic Association, Inc. While this has been an extraordinary experience for me, I believe that after two years and much progress our subdivision is set for the changes occurring in Baton Rouge.

I am proud of the work this board has done in proposing, having legislated and voter approval of our crime prevention district. I thank all of the board members for their support and work in this much-needed district.

If you wish to run for President, External Vice President, Internal Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary or Parliamentarian please contact our Secretary, Mrs. Georgette Harris, to enter your nomination. It is very rewarding to serve on this board.

The current board members are Philip W Mayeux, President; Bob Hartman, External Vice President; Jason Lachney, Internal Vice President; Jody Bailey, Treasurer; Georgette Harris, Secretary; and Rick Mills, Parliamentarian. Elections will be held on Tuesday, July 10.
