Retires
Wayne McKellar, has provided extra security for Woodlawn
Estates for over 20 years.
Wayne is a familiar sight
around the neighborhood as he drives through each day.
He has provided many of us with a sense of
security in a world that is not always so safe.
Wayne
goes beyond what is expected of him.
Neighbors have spoken of how, when he knew someone was away on holidays,
Wayne would
stop at their house and do a walk around.
He would ensure all the windows were closed and doors locked.
If someone were remiss in securing their
home,
Wayne
would do it for them and then upon their return, he would stop by with a gentle
reminder about safety.
If someone returned
earlier than expected,
Wayne
would be sure to stop by to make sure all was well.
Wayne
provided us with a personal service not common in today’s world.
For that, we thank him.
We hope he has a happy retirement and wish
him many years of relaxation and good fishing.
