Parents are encouraged to bring their children of all ages.
Along with door to door trick or treating,
the Greek community has arranged extra events for the kids to enjoy.
“We set up a face
painting booth and have games at our house to allow the kids to interact with
our sorority,” said Emily Reimsnyder, a Kappa Kappa Gamma at LSU.
“I love getting my chapter excited about the
event.”
“We dress up in funny
costumes and the kids seem to be shocked when they walk up to our lawn and see
us in them,” said Kylee Barnes, Delta Zeta at LSU.
Mike the Tiger is expected to attend along
with some LSU athletes.
They will be
there to boost the LSU Halloween spirit will be available for pictures with the
kids.
Carnival
Along with the ten houses open to trick-or-treaters, Phi
Kappa Psi hosts a carnival staffed by their active members and pledges along
with young women from neighboring sororities.
Activities include a sponge throw, a dunking tank and other games to win
candy prizes.
Over the last few years, the event has grown to serve over
2,000 children.

Trick-or-Treat Down the Row
brings people together in a safe
environment to celebrate Halloween and is a great service provided by the
Panhellenic community,” said Angela Guillory, the Director of Greek Life at
LSU.
