Hosts Attic Trash and Treasure Sale

 

Inner Wheel of Baton Rouge will host their 20th annual Attic Trash and Treasure Sale March 5-7, 2010, at the old Mervyn’s Store in Cortana Mall.  

 

The Inner Wheel is currently accepting items and monetary donations for the sale, and will be doing so thru February 26.

Inner Wheel has raised and distributed over $1 million to local charities over the past ten years.   The sale also provides a community service by recycling goods from one family, which no longer needs or wants them, to another family that may be in need.  

 

Hours of operation for the sale are as follows: Friday, March 5, 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Saturday, March 6, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Sunday, March 7, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.  On Sunday all   remaining items will be half off!

 

Beneficiaries of the Attic Trash and Treasure Sale this year are The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, Baton Rouge Regional Eye Bank, Volunteers of America, Salvation Army and the Rotary Scholarship Foundation.  For more information please call 359-9940 ext. 203 or visit www.brfoodbank.org and click on Trash and Treasure.
