Highland Creek Guidelines Noted

By Barbara Hatfield, President

Highland Creek Neighborhood Association

Most people work hard to respect their neighbors, but occasionally residents act in ways that cause problems.   We will highlight a few of the (Highland Creek) guidelines as a reminder:

Restrictions include:

  • ·         Parking in front of mailboxes- the mail carriers will not deliver if the boxes are blocked
  • ·         Yard Maintenance- winter yards require less maintenance than other times of the year, but please continue to pick up limbs and keep drains clear of debris
  • ·         Double parking- we unfortunately have limited parking throughout the neighborhood but it does not provide an excuse for double parking.   You can be ticketed for blocking flow of traffic and it is a nuisance

A full list of neighborhood restrictions may be found at www.highlandcreekbr.com.

Staring Lane Extension Updates

Construction is underway in the area between Burbank Drive and Highland Road.   The contractor drove test piles for the bridge over Bayou Fountain in October and construction of the bridge will start soon.   Drainage structures are being installed along the Staring Extension corridor.
