Hickory Ridge Easter Egg Hunt a Huge Success

O ne-hundred fifty parents, grandparents and children gathered at the BREC Park on Cedar Ridge Saturday, March 15, 2008 for the Annual Hickory Ridge Easter Egg Hunt.
The event was chaired by Betty Serio,
president of the
Hickory Ridge Civic
Association and Vince Palermo, vice president. Committee
members included
Sara Palmero and Marsha Walton.
The children were divided into two age groups and rejoiced in finding hidden eggs throughout
the park. A special prize was given to the child who found the most eggs and the one that
found the silver egg. A grand
prize was given to each child that found a golden egg! Plenty of door prizes were available for both adults and children that attended the Easter Egg Hunt.
The real champions were the Hickory Ridge residents, many of whom expressed their gratitude to the officers, saying they were happy to live in a subdivision that provides a special time for residents.
