Hickory Ridge Residents
Issued Exciting Challenge!

By Larry Rosendahl, Secretary
Metro Nine and Jones Creek Representative

At the June 3rd meeting, it was suggested by Ben Strong that a challenge be issued to the residents of Hickory Ridge to see which street has the best representation at our regular civic association meetings.

The reward is obvious. The benefit to the residents attending is better knowledge of what is going on in the subdivision, and the opportunity to contribute input and vote on issues.

Percentage of representation by streets at the June meeting was as follows: Elm Ridge 38%, Fox Ridge 23%, Hickory Ridge 15%, Short Ridge 15 %, and Tiger Bend 8%. Streets not listed had no representation, and no input.

Volunteers are needed as “Street (Block) Captains.” Anyone who would like to serve in this capacity is encouraged to call 293-3411, Ext. 249 and leave name and contact information on the voice mail.

Jones Creek Area Business
Association Christmas Parade
The Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 14. Anyone interested in participating in a Hickory Ridge Float may call 293-3411, Ext. 249. Board members of the civic association would like to see good representation in this event which is one of the city’s largest parades of the holiday season!
