35th Independence Day Parade Will Roll Through Kenilworth Tuesday, July 3rd at 6:45 p.m.
The theme for 2007 will be It’s a Grand Old Flag as
Baton Rouge’s 35th Annual Independence Day Parade
rolls through Kenilworth Subdivision at 6:45 p.m. on
Tuesday evening, July 3rd.
Grand Marshal this year will be LSU System President William Jenkins, and the Kenilworth Civic Association’s Board of Directors recently selected Maureen Malone of Daventry Drive as Resident of the Year.
Several thousand residents and visitors will line the parade route as riders and walkers distribute candy, beads and trinkets to the crowd. Over 80 units are expected to make up this year’s parade.
