Central High School to Build New Gym, Field House Proposal in the Works

The Wildcats are about to roam on new territory. Central High School is about to break ground on its new 48,605 square foot gymnasium. The facility will be located adjacent to the existing gym and athletic fields. The project will cost approximately $6.5 million. This project is being sponsored by the Central High Boosters.

There is also another upcoming project in the works at Central High. A field house building is being proposed that will include coaches and assistant coaches' offices, a weight room, training room and locker rooms for varsity and freshmen athletes. The field house will also provide ample storage for sports equipment. The building will be about 23,000 square feet and cost approximately $3.2 million dollars.
