First Annual Southeast Better Living Fair Set For Woodlawn Middle School on Sat urday, April 14!
As Baton Rouge continues growing, so do the opportunities that make it one of the next great Southern cities. There is no better way to observe this growth within our community than to look at all of the great businesses in the city. And the best way to see them is at the First Annual Southeast Baton Rouge Better Living Fair at the beautiful new Woodlawn Middle School on the corner of Jones Creek and Tiger Bend Roads on Saturday, April 14th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to the Federation of Greater Baton Rouge Civic Associations, event cosponsors include Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Lake After Hours, Lake Primary Care Physicians, House of Travel, Cox Communications, Coca-Cola of Baton Rouge and Southeast Neighbors magazine.
Come and register to win a free trip to Hawaii! The trip package includes two roundtrip airplane tickets from Baton Rouge to Kauai, Hawaii, and a five-night, six-day stay at a two-bedroom private condo overlooking the Pacific Ocean, all courtesy of House of Travel.
In addition to a gigantic space walk and slide for the youngsters from Party Time, a complete menu of goodies from Tropical Smoothie Café will be served all day. Our Lady of the Lake will offer free blood pressure tests, and United Blood Service will be conducting a blood drive. Blood donors will receive T-shirts, and donors are automatically registered to win a trip to Disney World!
There will be door prizes and show specials in addition to the free health screenings.
