Central Women's Club to Sponsor

First Fall Shopping Extravaganza

The Central Women’s Club will sponsor their First Annual Fall Shopping Extravaganza on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Central High School.  

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.

The list of vendors, crafters, and retailers signed up at this point include: Ampersand Photography; Smoothie King; Planet Beach Contempo Spa; Discovery Toys; Willow House Interiors; Passion Parties; Beauti Control Skin Care and Spa Products.   Also on the specially priced sale tables will be a large selection of jewelry, monogrammed gift items, children’s clothing, mailboxes, glassware, candles, purses, bags and scented fleur de leis.  

Extravaganza foods will also include funnel cakes, jambalaya, and gumbo served in bread bowls.   There will be face painting, lots of other food items and live entertainment.

The Central Women’s Club brings women of the Central Community together to do fundraisers for worthwhile purposes in the community. Last year the Central Women’s Club sold 500 pink t-shirts to raise money for the Susan G. Coleman Breast Cancer Foundation.

Club members also raised money for two local families last year during the Christmas Holidays.
